These two photographic series, printed using the cyanotype process, explore the nature of the photographic image through the notion of the uncanny. ‘Le pli’ stages a feminine figure sitting on a chair, covered with a black cloth, which progressively reveals herself. ‘L’étreinte’ shows an arm embracing a tree trunk which removes itself, leaving a clay mark on the bark.

The two series were shown as part of the group exhibition ‘DABAPHOTO 6 : Je frotte mon langage contre l’autre’ at Le 18, Marrakech in March 2021.
