Shot in 2020 in Casablanca during the festival of Eid Al-Adha, The Cut explores the Muslim tradition of animal sacrifice. Documenting the multiple stages of the ceremony, the film emphasises the gestures associated with the ritual and the labour of hands as they execute the passage from life to death.

The Cut has been shown in Galeria Art Room, Madrid, and Museo Francisco Sobrino, Guadalajara, as part of CUVO Video Art Festival from January to June 2023.
